INTERSPEECH conferences are attended by researchers with a long-term track-record in speech sciences and technology, as well as by early-stage researchers or researchers interested in a new domain within the Interspeech areas. An important part of the conference are the tutorials held on the first day of the conference, October 25, 2020. Presented by speakers with long and deep expertise in speech, they will provide their audience with a rich learning experience and an exposure to longstanding research problems, contemporary topics of research as well as emerging areas.
Time of the Tutorials: October 25, 2020; two 3h sessions.
Tutorial Session A (16:30-19:45, GMT+8)
Tutorial Session B (20:00-23:15, GMT+8)

Format:
Each tutorial consists of three steps. First, the speakers make a live presentation or a pre-recording is played. Second, the speakers will be online for a live QA in a Zoom meeting room. The total length of the pre-recording and the live QA is 3 hours for each tutorial. The specific time allocation is determined by the speakers. Third, the live QA session will be recorded and the recording will be made available at the conference website for registrants to refer at a later time (with permission from the speakers).
After the tutorials, pre-recordings, pdf slides and recordings of the live QA (with permission from the speakers) continue to be available at the conference website for registrants.
